Christmas Break Thus Far...

Merry Christmas (well a little late)! I got home on Sunday, after a really long weekend of working, and it was so good to be home! That night we had a family Christmas party. Monday I went to Salt Lake with my mom, and that was just like it used to be, long but fun! I decided that it is freezing up north and I'm so glad that I decided to go to school down south! It snowed all day! Wednesday we did our annual Christmas eve with the Lawson's. We went to Little America for brunch, then went to the movie, after that we went up to Grandma Cluff's for her birthday. On our way up there we had to stop home to grab some things and my mom noticed a package on the porch. I was expecting a package from Josh, so I ran to get it, and sure enough it was from him :) It said to open immediately so thats just what I did. Inside was a DVD, so I jumped in the car, and pressed play. This was amazing!! It was a DVD of all of the pictures since he has been on his mission, needless to say I cried through the whole thing. A member in his ward helped him with it, and at the end he even dedicated part of it to me. It was so cute and thoughtful, just like the typical Josh. The rest of the night went really good and I took it up for his family to see. They loved it, but it definitely made us miss him more!
The next morning, Christmas morning, we woke up at 5:30 because Josh was calling at 6 and opened all our presents. Then josh called and i got to talk to him for a really long time!! He is doing wonderfully, and although I was really nervous at first, things just kinda came back :) he is such an amazing boy! After I hung up with him, I took a nap then we went to the Lawson's for dinner. Then we went to the Cluffs and then I went to his house that night. I got to talk to him one more time, just for a second though, and I was the happiest girl alive. I love that he is 900 miles away and he can still make me smile :)
Today we worked around the house and then went to Salt Lake as a family to dinner and shopping! So far my winter break has been really good and I am happy to be home :)
