So as all of you know, Thursday is Thanksgiving.
Well I live about 4 hours away, and so obviously I will be making the trip up to see my family for the holiday. School gets out today, and so for weeks now I have been planning on driving up with some friends, no big deal.
Well Utah weather is making it a big deal.
These are some of the current news headlines for the wasatch front:
"Utahan’s Prepare for Storm of the Century"
"This will far surpass anything that we've seen, probably for the last several years."
"Expect heavy snows, low visibility, high winds and freezing temperatures."
"Wintry weather, controversy could complicate Thanksgiving travel"
My family, trying to stay on top of things, decided to get me a flight, good right?
Except that I get in tonight at 6:59. Which is the exact time that the storm will be the worst. My biggest fear is that I will get re-routed to Boise or something and will have to spend Thanksgiving in the airport. Wish me luck!
