My new calling!

So a couple weeks ago the bishop pulled me into his office and told me that he had to talk to me about something...I knew a calling was coming. He called me to be the Gospel Doctrine teacher in my college ward. WOW. As if I didnt have enough on my plate with school and ambassadors, but I willingly accepted the calling. My first lesson was "We thank thee O God for a prophet" and what a great topic this is!! I have been preparing for two weeks straight and actually havent even been able to sleep very well cause I cannot stop thinking about it. After much preparation, a ton of help from those around me, and many fervent prayers, its over and it went great! Although I was SOO nervous, after a few minutes I got really comfortable and got a lot of discussion going and I even ran out of time.

I am so grateful for this calling and everything that I am going to learn and am excited to grow closer to the lord and learn as much as I can while doing it. I cannot wait till next time I get to teach!! :)
