"God gave us memories that we might have roses in December"

This might be a weird thing to blog about, but because I have spent a lot of time in the car lately driving from work to Park City every night after work, I have had a lot of time to think about memories and people in my life. Do you have a certain song that reminds you of one particular person? Or do you have a song that reminds you of a certain memory, or special day? I relate songs to people and that is how I remember the good times with certain people. Today, as I had my iPod on shuffle, I started to think about all the songs that reminded me of people and why:

Liz--- Just about anything from Taylor Swifts CD Fearless (especially White Horse), she was the first to tell me about it one night while we were talking in Spoon Me for hours and I fell in love. We had so many good chats while she worked at Spoon Me. What a great friend :)
Megan---Blah Blah Blah by Ke$ha, haha meg always thought this said "love love love" and she would make me laugh everytime she would sing it :) oh how I miss meg. Her quirkiness, blonde moments, and great personality is why everyone loves her!

Josh-- Viva la Vida by Coldplay and Realize by Colbie Calliat. Right before he left, Viva la Vida came out and 2 days before his mission he memorized the entire song. and Realize was "our song". I cant believe this was all 2 years ago.
Tace (Stacie)-- Anything by Joshua Radin. One day Tace came into my house and told me about him and told me to look him up. It was when both of us were going through a little bit of a "rough spot" and the song she showed me was "Everything'll be alright." I fell in love. Tace is always so positive and looking for a way to make things better, this is just an example of that.

Britt--She was the first to show me Our Song by Taylor Swift, which was soo long ago! We have so many different songs that we listen to, that there are too many to name! I love her!

Mason H.-- Kiss a girl by Keith Urban. haha oh the stories behind this one. Its just a funny story and this was his ringtone for when he called me. oh and one day we were in the car and he started singing Beer For my Horses at the top of his lungs. haha it was cute.
Spencer (my brother)--Dont stop believin' the GLEE VERSION!! little do all of you know, I am pretty musically talented.......NOT! but me and my brother do have a duet to this song that I DO belt out at the top of my lungs. He is so great, and so much fun to be around.
Halley- oh so many to name, she is the MUSIC queen :) but I would have to say anything by script. she was mad that I waited a year and a half to tell her about the blessed band!

Josie--she is the LYRIC queen, but the song would be Tonight by FM static. I remember listening to it one day in the car. she is so cute :)

Tanner--EVen though we listened to MANY MANY songs in the car, and tanner had dances to just about every one of them, his song is Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus. That was the "theme song" for the roadtrip the very first time we came to erda. I miss him.

Austin-- Dear Maria, Count Me In by All Time Low. I dont even know if aust likes this song, but every time I hear it, I think of him. that one and I'm on a boat ;) he was so entertaining and I miss him so much!

Hank--- oh gosh, he is so great. Im sure no one has heard it, but his song is If Heaven Aint Alot Like Dixie by Hank Williams Jr. One day it was just me, hank and Megan on our way back from Enterprise, and Hank was driving. I had just gotten a text that made me upset, and hank was bugging me so I just got really quiet. he could tell that something was wrong so he rolled down the windows and started singing this at the top of his lungs because he knew I loved it. I miss listening to him sing in the car.

This might be a dumb thing to blog about, but I was just thinking about lots of people today, and loved remembering them and how much they mean to me!
