So yesterday, which happened to be my birthday, I had to say goodbye to one of my very best friends for a whole 2 years! what a great birthday present....NOT! :)
Austin is leaving this Wednesday for Roseville, California to serve a mission. For the last semester of college, Austin and I were basically joined at the hip. Because we were ambassadors together, we were together ALL the time (EVERYONE thought we were dating, some days we just played along because it got so annoying!), and I cant say I have anything to complain about. He is so great!
He is so much fun to be around and is always making me laugh in some way or another. Whether it be him hitting me in the head with a paintball, splattering me with a paintball on my brand new dress, making me give him a piggy back ride ALL THE WAY FROM THE THIRD FLOOR, or him waking me up from my nap because he decided to lay right on top of me to squish me, I was always laughing.
He is such a great example to me and I am going to miss him so much! I know he is going to be such a great missionary and the people of California are lucky to have him :)
I love him so much and he will always be one of my best friends (even if he did text me at 3:30 last night because he forgot my birthday, haha I just thought it was funny and completely understand that he had a little more to think about than my birthday!!)

OH MY GOSH! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I would've called you but I don't have a phone! :( I'm so sorry that I couldn't call you on your big day but I LOVE YOU & miss you so much!
holy nanners, summ! i didn't realize it was your birthday yesterday!!!! that's what i get for not being more of a FB junkie, right? cause i'm sure the reminder was there in the sidebar. i just don't magnify the possibilities of FB enough apparently. =(
but on the UP SIDE, yesterday was one of my most favorite sundays i've had in a LONG LONG time! so, knowing now that it was your birthday, only makes sense why it was such a great day. hope it was more magical for you than it was for me! SO HAPPY ONE-DAY-BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!
