Just sit tight and enjoy the ride.
Have you ever really thought about this common statement? Think about it for a second.
It seems to be the story of my life. I think about this statement like a roller coaster:
Ya know the REALLY big roller coaster at the local theme park that everyone talks about but it is SOOO tall and SOOO scary looking? You know that you should just go on it but it still takes you the whole day to even get in line. Once you get in line, you don't wanna just wimp out and be known as the one in the group thats scared of a little roller coaster. You wait in line in anticipation. Sometimes the line is really long and you get more and more unsure of your decision the further you get to the front.
Finally, you're next.
Its seems so close, but you are still savoring the ground beneath your feet. Right now, you are safe, no way to get hurt or scared. Then you step onto the coaster, strap yourself in and hope for the best.
As you turn the corner in your little cart, you see the first hill and it looks like you are never going to make it to the top. You have no choice. You cant tell them to let you off (well you might be able to scream it, but no one is gonna listen). The hill is coming, and you just have to sit there and enjoy what you can of it. Yea there are risks and you could get hurt, but right now, none of that matters, cause you have no choice. From there, its all a blur. Most times, you really enjoyed the ride and had no idea what you were so scared about. Sometimes you are glad you never have to do that again, but you still conquered it.
Right now, Im next in line. I have no choice. The hill is coming and there is no backing out now. All I can do is enjoy what I can. I know the big hill is going to be scary, but I am ready to strap in, sit tight and enjoy the ride.
