Complicated.

In life, things are just so complicated. In everything we do I think we as a society have started to choose the more complicated road. I know that I am noticing the complications a little more because I am growing up and have more responsibility, but I have definitely been noticing it lately. Today I was driving home to get ready and I was thinking about all the things in my life lately. Every aspect of my life is so complicated. Think about it.

Family relationships become complicated when we forget about the simple things. When we forget about the fact that they really are all we have.

School becomes complicated when we forget about the reason we are really there. To better our lives and become educated. When we forget about the rare opportunity we have to go to school.

Friend relationships become complicated when we forget about the fact that those are the ones who know you the best. When you forget about the fact that they get you through every single day.

Church becomes complicated when you forget what you believe. When you forget what the dedication and sacrifice that is put forth is for. When you forget that serving others is what this life is really about.

Work becomes complicated when you forget the reasons why you are working. When you forget that hard work is what makes the world go round. When you forget the fact that the opportunity that you have to work, and the fact that you even have a job is a blessing. 

Motivation becomes complicate when forget about the result in the end. When we forget about the fact that motivation becomes habit.

Love/ Relationships become complicated when we forget that they are for eternity. When we forget that there is a plan and things will work out when they work out. We forget that love is not a game and that we are supposed to be with who we end up with. Things will work out in the end.

Here is my pledge to “un-complicate” my life. Look at every aspect of my life and make it less complicated. Wake up every morning to dedicate myself to being simple. To be understanding and to have a better attitude :) hopefully you do the same and realize that it’s the simple things in life that count the most.
